Emergency Food Shelter Program

Our United Way administers the Emergency Food and Shelter Program, a federal initiative through FEMA and the National Food and Shelter Program. Locally, through an Advisory Board, during 2008 Phase 26, we distributed $102, 396 to eligible Local Recipient Organizations (LRO's) that provide emergency food and shelter within Nash and Edgecombe counties.
