       There is HOPE.

Fred Pittman understands the riotous life of an addict. After homelessness, trouble with the law, health issues and partial loss of hearing, he realized that he needed help in order to get on the right path. Christian Fellowship Homes of Nash/Edgecombe Counties, a United Way Partner agency, provided a positive environment for Fred to make steps towards a better life.

Christy Taylor, owner of Express Employment Professionals, contributes to the cause of positively impacting lives by donating to United Way.  Because of donors like Christy, Fred is active in ministry, pursuing his education and has hope for a brighter future.

At an early age, Rosella Campbell faced many obstacles growing up. While many other little girls were experiencing the joys of childhood, Rosella was experiencing family hardships, violence in school and low grades.  After enrolling into the PROJECT LEARN program, offered at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Nash/Edgecombe Counties, she began to make drastic improvements.  Because of United Way funded programs like PROJECT LEARN, Rosella is thriving socially and academically.

Maceo Lewis, a QVC-Rocky Mount employee, contributes to United Way by supporting programs that offer children a positive environment focused on achieving goals and keeping them out of trouble.  Because of supporters like Maceo, Rosella can succeed in academics and reach for the stars.
