Thank you for your interest in becoming a partnering agency with the United Way Tar River Region. We are improving the way we do business so that we can better mobilize the various resources in our community to achieve our mission. With our Community Impact Plan, your United Way is working across the twin counties to develop and implement strategies that make a difference in some of our greatest challenge areas.
United Way Tar River Region is issuing a Letter of Intent (LOI) process to local non-profit agencies to achieve measurable community-level changes with focuses in the areas of Education, Income & Independence, and Health. NEW partnering agencies wishing to submit an LOI must create an account on e-CImpact and submit using this online platform. It is encouraged for potential partnering agencies to set up a phone call with United Way Tar River Region to discuss the process further. You may contact Mary Scott Anderson at 252-937-2213 Ext. 204. This does not guarantee that your organization will be funded by the United Way, but it will help us to determine those eligible. Once again, thank you for your interest in your United Way.
If your LOI is accepted, United Way Tar River Region will be in contact to explain the steps to complete an Application for Funding.
Local nonprofit agencies will be able to submit a Letter of Intent
during the Winter of 2019.
